As we launch Green Village Green, we welcome everyone associated with green building to become a Green Villager and join the directory. There is no charge for the first year, so any business can be part of Green Village Green, provided they offer at least one green or sustainable product or service.

The value of Green Village Green to you as an individual or a business will be increased exponentially as the site is populated by businesses and organizations, large and small, around the US and, in a later phase of our development, globally.

Green Village Green is a for-profit enterprise. If we can cover our costs with sponsorships, ads, and fees to be placed higher on category lists, we will be able to continue to offer directory membership at no charge. Our intent is to always include non-profit organizations for free.

How do you sign up? It's easy!

Are you a business or organization or do you wish to submit an article? Become a Green Villager. (See Browser Requirements below for best success.)

If you have a website, you can include a link; if not, an email address and phone number will mean people can find you. Your physical address is needed to be included in the zip code search filter. (Several zip codes can be entered here.)

Your submission will be reviewed to ensure it's appropriate for our site, then placed in the directory "on probation." Each time you edit/update your entry, or submit a new one, your entry will be reviewed before appearing in the directory. Once we are satisfied you are who you say you are (the Internet can be a strange place!), you will be given "active" status. Then you can edit/update your entry or submit new ones whenever you wish, without the need for us to review.

In the next phase of site development we will be incorporating a rating system that will allow customer ratings on businesses and products listed in our directory. Green Village Green will also give our own ranking by using the same rating system. We will choose companies that we feel stand out as leaders in the green industry.

We are holding an open call for any educational and exciting articles that pertain to green building practices, new technology, or findings in the field.
